Whether you are celebrating a wedding, anniversary,
birthday or some other special occasion, the release of beautiful
butterflies can represent a special, personal sentiment—a
unique and magical experience you and your guests are sure to

Special Requirements

Weather Restrictions—Butterflies
should not be released if the temperature is below 65
degrees F, at night or in the rain. Releasing them at
temperatures below 65 will cause them to fly sluggishly.
At night, they may not fly at all.

Shipping—Due
to USDA regulations, we are unable to ship monarchs to Arizona
or Nevada. Painted ladies cannot be shipped to New Mexico.
Shipping is Next Day Air or Express Overnight. Cost is $35,
add $10 for Saturday delivery. Holiday and Sunday deliveries
are not available.
Our Guarantee—We guarantee that
your butterflies will arrive vibrant, healthy and ready
to celebrate your special event. Your orders include one
extra butterfly per dozen in the unlikely event that one
perished during shipping. A deceased butterfly can be returned
for a prorated refund. Please call for details. |

Butterfly Release
Details |

Butterflies can be purchased individually or
by the dozen, depending on how you want to use them in your
event. Choose one of the 3 release options below, or create
your own.
Individual Release—Allow
your guests to share in the magic. Butterflies are placed safely
in special envelopes given to each guest for release at the
chosen moment, such as “the kiss.” Each guest makes
a wish for the bride and groom and release their butterfly.
The bride and groom can even incorporate their own release into
the ceremony. Or following the ceremony, as an alternative to
throwing rice, the guests release their butterflies as the newlyweds
leave. Parents may release to symbolize the letting go of their
children. The flower girl may release from her butterfly basket.
Mass Release—Butterflies
are placed into a decorative box or basket (sold separately
or available for rent) and are released at the same time by
a select guest(s) or the coordinator.
Display Release—A decorative
display cage, chest or basket allows you to release the butterflies
after they have been viewed and enjoyed by the guests. Release
accessories are available for purchase or rent.
